Online Survey / Consultation Tool

The aim of the online survey is to generate extensive and robust empirical findings on potentials and barriers to social resilience in neighbourhoods, based on the experiences of local stakeholders in Europe. By focusing on civic ‘city makers’, it addresses the motivation of civic actors to take on responsibility for (former) public tasks and the resulting changes in the division of tasks between civil society and urban planning, the opportunities for social participation and the potentials and limits of civic engagement. Special attention is also paid to the role of the built environment and historical or cultural heritage as important pre-condition for local identity and civic engagement. The findings of the online-survey will be analysed and summarised in working papers and scientific publications. The results will be available here as soon as the online survey has been completed and the results are available.
