We are pleased to announce the upcoming conference dedicated to the project ‘Urban Planning for Social Resilience in Urban Neighbourhoods. Transformative Change through Civic Engagement’ (UPRUN), funded by the European Union within the ERASMUS+ Cooperation Partnerships (project number 2023-1-DE01-KA220-HED-000167004).
This conference aims to explore innovative strategies and practices in urban planning that enhance social resilience within urban neighbourhoods. We invite leading academics, urban planners, policymakers, and community leaders from across Europe and beyond to submit their contributions.
We invite participants to submit abstracts for consideration in one of the following tracks at our upcoming conference. Each track focuses on critical themes related to urban planning, community resilience, civic engagement, and the role of technology in fostering inclusive neighbourhoods:
- The Role of the Built Environment in Shaping Community Resilience: Design, Accessibility, and Social Interaction
- Resilient Communities and Governance: Institutions, Processes, and Neighbourhood Transformation
